Accomodations

Why waste time traveling back to a lodge when you can unwind in your own stateroom on the Ocean Star.

The accommodation on board the Ocean Star consists of three cabins.  Two of the cabins are for two people sharing, and the third cabin is a larger cabin/room for four people. There are two double occupancy rooms located on the main deck.

Main Deck

In the first cabin there is an upper and lower berth with drawers and all the necessary storage you need.  The second cabin has side by side berths with drawers etc.  There is a bathroom located right next to the two cabins.  It is shared by the four guests in the two cabins on the main deck. It has a sink, shower and toilet.    The rooms are kept squeaky clean, with all of the towels, facecloths, etc in your cabin.  Housecoats are available upon request.

Lower Deck

The third cabin is below decks and has four extra large berths that would be suitable for someone who may need that extra space.  There is a second bathroom as well for the four people who share this room with sink, shower and toilet.  Towels, facecloths, housecoats are supplied as well.  All of the bedding is on board.

Eating Area

The eating area is in the main galley with a second casual eating area on the back deck.  The galley is where most of the meals are served.  The back table and deck area is a gathering place in the evening for drinks and appetizers. It is covered and heated. There is plenty of deck room to lounge about and enjoy the scenery. It is a friendly and relaxed area of the boat where you can talk about the days fishing and enjoy Gayle’s great appetizers. We have a second fridge on the back deck for cold beers or pop.  There is a coffee pot on at all times for your convenience.
