Ocean Star Charters offers fishing charters on the northwest coast of northern British Columbia, Canada, near the port of Prince Rupert. We offer fishing for both Salmon and Halibut, as well as other species, such as Ling cod and Red snapper. On this fishing charter you live aboard the boat, and this gives you the opportunity to experience life on the water. Take advantage of this great idea! We anchor as close as possible to the fishing grounds so that our guests have more time to fish. Try something unique, different, and adventurous. We go where the fish are! Click on our Fishing Charters page for more details.
The Ocean Star is available as a charter vessel for other purposes as well. This may include; Forestry work, Environmental surveys, Wildlife or Mammal studies, Engineering, or live aboard camp. After all these years of good fishing (wherever) then along comes the Ocean Star. I thought we experienced the best before. This is always a pleasant surprise. Thank you Willis, Gayle, and Shawn. We will see you in 10 months. Best crew, best food, and the greatest fishing . Keep up the good work. Thank you.
This is my third trip on the Ocean Star. I have to say, it just gets better and better. The entire crew outdo themselves with their hospitality and expertise. I sincerely look forward to my next trip.
